One surefire way to know if you’re being used is if he only makes contact with you at night – and usually over some sort of instant messaging platform. This is typical user behaviour because it means he only wants to speak to you late at night when he’s alone and probably horny. Try blocking him on all online platforms of communication and see if he bothers to call…

2. He Won’t Introduce You To His Friends

Only people guys are genuinely interested in get introduced to their friends. If you’ve been seeing each other for a month or two and still no sign of a single friend – I’d be concerned. Either he’s using you or he doesn’t have any friends…either way – it’s a no-go area!

3. He’ll Have A Tantrum If He Doesn’t Get His Own Way

If you turn him down when he does contact you he’ll get annoyed by you and may even insult you. Someone who truly likes you would understand if you turned them down so beware…

If you have an irregular pattern of communicating then this is definitely a sign you’re being used. When you genuinely like someone you want to contact them every day – without question.

5. You’ll Only Meet In Private

He’ll only meet with you when no one else is around. You’ll be invited to his when his parents/housemates are away or you’ll just hang out in the car. Guys who are interested want to show you off to the world – if you find yourself in a darkened car park it’s probably time leave…

6. He Has More Than One Cell Number or E-Mail Address

If a guy has more than one cell number, e-mail address or profile name and it isn’t for work – alarm bells should be ringing. Serial users often have two of each to keep their ‘victims’ separate from their day-to-day lives. If you find out he’s got two of anything – you should want to know why…
