1. Be Feminine

This may come as a shock to some of you but straight men like women, and more specifically, they like women who look like…well women. You wouldn’t want to go out with a guy who looked like one of your girlfriends…and I’m afraid it works the same for men! Try and glam yourself up in a feminine way, you don’t have to wear pink and thrills to do this (and to be quite honest I recommend you don’t!) You can easily make jeans and a tee look feminine with a pair of heels and or the right accessories.

2. Be Yourself

At the end of the day if this guy is really someone special and someone you can see yourself with for the foreseeable future then there is absolutely no point pretending to be someone you’re not. The truth will definitely come out in the end and you’ll be the one made to look ridiculous, or worse, the relationship could be over altogether. Being yourself may not necessarily attract any man but it’ll certainly repel the wrong ones! Be true to yourself if you want to meet your match.

3. Be Independent

There is nothing more unattractive to a man than a needy girlfriend, so show him that you have your own life, friends and purpose without him and he’ll think you’re heaven-sent. Enjoy your time with him but make sure that you don’t become reliant on his company, keep your life in balance!

4. Be Confident

This doesn’t mean be a complete bitch by the way. Confidence isn’t cockiness, nor is it arrogance. Confidence is about knowing yourself inside out and being comfortable with who you are. If you lack self-confidence then remember the golden rules – make eye contact and smile – you’ll be amazed at how much more confident you become even when you pretend!

5. Be Elusive

Perhaps the most challenging of the 5 – You don’t have to be secretive to keep him guessing – just keep an air of mystery around you. One of the most effective ways to do this is to not be consistently available. Get him used to your company and conversation then take a short but calculated break to make him wonder what you’re doing. Intrigue is one of the most powerful methods of seduction – so give him something to think about!
