Twinings ‘Gets You Back To You’ Advert

So I was in the cinema waiting for ‘Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark’ to start (which by the way isn’t that great so don’t rush to see it), when this absolutely, well-and-truly, beautiful advert came on…

Immediately I was drawn in. I don’t know if it was the enchanting song, stunning animation or what, but my gosh did it catch my attention. It turns out it was a Twinings tea advert. The slogan ‘Gets You Back To You’ just struck a chord with me and it’s so true, when I make a cup of tea it’s so I can just take 5 minutes out from what I am doing, relax, and find me again.

More importantly in some ways I guess is the soundtrack, a cover of The Calling’s ‘Wherever You Will Go’ by Charlene Soraia. I’m pretty sure Charlene was one of these unknown ‘YouTube Singers’ – like Conor Maynard was before he became well-known! It’s a stunning track with vocals to match.
