10 Rules of Secret Keeping

The rules of secret keeping can be tough – especially for the gossip girls among us. However, if you keep a clear head and follow these simple rules you’ll be a secret keeping queen in no time…

1. DO keep the secrets of others. Sharing gossip with your friends might seem like fun but your friends might wonder how trustworthy you actually are.

2. DON’T tell your sibling’s partner about any embarrassing stories such as bed wetting at 8 years old, unless you want them to drop you in it too of course.

3. DO keep the secret of when you jumped out your bedroom window to go out when you were supposed to be asleep from your Mum…even if it is 10 years on.

4. DON’T tell your BFF that her new man is a total loser…it’s not a game you’re likely to win so just work with him.

5. DO indulge in the occasional confession session with your besties…but try and keep some secrets to yourself.

6. DON’T let your boyfriend take pics of you that you wouldn’t want his mates seeing…trust me, he’ll show them.

7. DO remember if you tell a lie when keeping a secret…someone could easily catch you in your web of deceit when you least expect it!

8. DON’T graphically describe the best sex you’ve ever had to your man (unless it involved him of course.)

9. DO prove your worth at secret keeping by pretending you’d ‘forgotten’ when the subject comes up again.

10. DON’T tell your BFF that you often imagine her man naked, again, trust me – you won’t receive a pretty response.
