1.    Take Position

Make sure you’re always centre of the room or where the action is happening. Position yourself in the busiest area and begin to work the crowds. The first thing to do is listen to the conversations, then respond with a little laugh or comment and finally hold a conversation of your own.

2.    Show Some Skin

Showing skin will always get you noticed at a party, but getting noticed for all the right reasons is the trick. Short skirts that barely cover your butt cheeks are a definite no-no – as is a ‘come and stare at my boobs’ kind of top. 3.    Make Contact

Touching the person’s arm or shoulder at the correct moment during a conversation can psychologically make this person like you more.  Touch as a sense makes us feel happy and wanted which is always a positive attribute when working a party! Not only that if other people see…you may just make them jealous!

4.    This Body Language

At a party so many people will look at you without even speaking to you so make sure your first impressions count. Keeping your arms by your side or fiddling shows that you are nervous – something you don’t what people to think you are! Try using your hands to make delicate gestures or place one hand on your thigh or hip – confidence is everything.

5.    The Dress

Much like point 2, your party success is all about choosing the perfect party dress. Consider the colour, the cut, the style, what it says about you, what it doesn’t. Make sure every aspect of your dress decision is considered before you slip it on and make your grand entrance.
