How To Half Your Workout Time

how-to-half-workout-timeHow can you spend half the time working out in the gym but still get the same results… easy! Follow today’s top tips…

Warm up on the way

Ok, you could run to the gym and put bricks in your back – but then where’s the fun in that? Instead, park about half a mile away from the gym, slip on your trainers and take a brisk walk pushing your legs and arms as much as possible. You’ll be warm by the time you get there… trust me.

Don’t Push Yourself

Alternate training and you could half your time on the cardio machines and still burn off the fat! Research has shown that if you alternate between vigorous exercise and softer training you actually shed calories faster, other than constant high-end workouts that don’t burn as much over time.

Up One Day – Down The Next

Don’t train your entire body in one work out. Instead, one day work out your top hair, training your arms, and abs… and the next day train your legs. That way you’re not waiting for a section of your body to recover – hence you don’t spend as much time seething in pain after finishing only one set.

Sets

That’s another thing – on the subject of sets – only do one at a time – doubling up does no one any good. It’s all about variety. You’ll stay more positive with variation and end up feeling better about yourself in the long run.
