Breast Cancer Awareness Month

breast_cancer_awareness-ribbonIt’s that time of year again ladies and no, we aren’t talking Halloween – it’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The infamous Pink Ribbon has been around for 17 years and can often be seen in shops, on websites and pinned to our girlfriends’ coats as a symbol of the battle against breast cancer.

As with other cancers, early detection of the disease is key to surviving, so make sure you check yourself regularly – it could save your life.

As one in nine people in the UK are diagnosed with breast cancer, it’s important for us all to remain vigilant and support this worthy cause.

So next time you come across the chance to donate to the Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity be sure to make a contribution and wear your ribbon with pride…
