Susan Boyle To Sing For Obamas

It’s been reported that Susan Boyle will sing her signature song, ‘I Dreamed A Dream’, for President Barack Obama at a White House party next month.

The Daily Express reports that Boyle has been approached to perform for First Lady Michelle Obama’s 46th Birthday celebrations which has been described as a “small, intimate gathering” at the family’s private quarters on 17th January 2010.

“It will actually be a double celebration because three days later, 20 January, marks the first anniversary of the president taking office,” an insider claimed. “I would expect that a formal invitation will be made to Miss Boyle in the very near future. The President and First Lady absolutely love her voice and will be delighted if she agrees.”

Well, I don’t know how much truth there is in this but I’d be slightly nervous of letting Susan anywhere near the White House if I’m honest…she never looks entirely ‘stable’ when I see her perform!
