Spears Covers Morisette’s ‘You Oughta Know’

Britney Spears performed a surprise cover of Alanis Morisette’s ‘You Oughta Know’ last night at her tour date in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The singer covered the song to the delight of fans as an addition to her usual set list. Spears’ Manager Adam also confirmed on her website that the song was even performed live.

Spears opted not to word the more obscene lyrics in the song to the disappointment of some but parents of the younger generation of fans were no doubt pleased with the singer’s decision.

Britney Spears’ 2009 Circus Tour is back in the US for a second leg before ending in Australia later this year.
