Simon Cowell Voting Conservative?
Simon Cowell has said tomorrow’s UK General Election MUST bring change to Britain according to The Sun newspaper…
Simon has said that he deeply loves the UK and says that it needs a new government to pull it out of crisis. Simon’s vision of a new Britain includes inspiring young people, unlocking talent, promoting family values and stimulating business – sounds like a good vision to me.
Simon says: “I have always hated celebrities lecturing people on politics. So forgive me. But I am passionate about this country.
“I am equally passionate about the potential of the people who live here.”
Simon describes the current UK Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, as a “sincere man” but says he is “tired” and warns of the dangers of a hung parliament by casting doubts on the Liberal Democrats and Nick Clegg, saying: “I worry about a lot of his policies.” Despite trying to seem ‘objective’ it seems Simon is certainly in favour of Conservative leader, David Cameron, statingĀ “I like him, I trust him. He has substance and the stomach to navigate us through difficult times.”
It was made clear that he insists he is NOT telling anyone how to vote, but he calls the poll an “opportunity to bring back common sense” – and give people hope.
Hmm – Conservative much?! But I have to say I agree with everything Simon’s said…we’ll see what happens on Friday!
