Sandra Bullock Oscars 2010

My favourite Hollywood gal, Sandra Bullock, has made history by becoming the first actress to win a Razzie and Oscar award in the same weekend!

I can’t believe she was up for the Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Actor as well as an Academy Award for Best Actress – what a minx!

Sandra received a standing ovation as she took to the stage to collect her Worst Actor award for her role in the film ‘All About Steve’. She didn’t go down without a fight however, taking a box of DVDs of the film with her and telling the audience:

“Something tells me you all didn’t watch the film because I wouldn’t be here if you really, really watched it and understood what I was trying to say. Everyone gets a copy and this is the deal I’m going to make. I will show up next year if you promise to watch the movie and really consider if it was truly the worst performance. If you’re willing to watch, I’ll come back next year and give back the Razzie.”

Enough about that though, Sandra also won the Best Actress Award for her role in ‘The Blind Side’ at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards last night, which I wasn’t too surprised about to be honest after all the praise I’ve heard from the States. Ms Bullock, humble as ever commented:

“Did I really earn this or did I just wear you all down?”

I can’t wait to go and see The Blind Side when it’s released…looks like a good old fashioned heart-warming story that will have me in tears!
