Robbie Reunites With Take That
Robbie Williams reunites with his former boy band, Take That, for a new album and supporting tour next year…and it’s about bloody time!
Take That disbanded in 1996 but reunited without Robbie in 2005 with huge success – including three number one singles. Although I’m not really a Take That fan myself, I can see how great these guys are and how excited their original fans must be to see them back together again.
The group will release an album this Christmas and follow it up with a stadium tour in the summer of 2011. The reunion is said to last around a year and will kick off with the previously announced single Shame, which Robbie co-wrote with band member Gary Barlow. The single is due out in October and will appear in Robbie’s greatest hits album In and Out of Consciousness…can’t wait to see what it’s like.
The new album will be released on Take That’s label Polydor, rather than Williams’ company, EMI – I wonder why?! Take a look at the footage posted on Take That’s website this afternoon shows them together in the studio – laughing, joking and singing as they worked on an untitled album to be released in November.
