Leona Lewis Rubbish Avatar Video

Leona Lewis’ new video for I See You, theme song to James Cameron’s Winter blockbuster, Avatar, is rubbish. Beautiful… but pretty rubbish.

I’m clueless as to why they have produced a music vid for the biggest budget film ever made, and seemingly spend next to no money!

Do they really think that getting an amazingly talented diva, putting her in a studio with some smoke and lights, and letting her mime to the track while the shots from the film dazzle, and amaze will really dazzle… and amaze? They should have turned Leona into a Navi, one of the stunning blue aliens in the film. That would have been brilliant.

Funnily enough it seems like a complete rip off to My Heart Will Go On, which followed the exact same format. They are both below so you can compare. What do you think?

I’m so proud of Leona for representing Britain so well – it’s so rare for a female British artist to be the ambassador for an international blockbuster. And she’s perfect for the job.
