Lady Gaga Planned Duet With MJ

Lady Gaga has revealed that she was pencilled in to open Michael Jackson’s This Is It Tour, at London’s O2 Arena this Spring.

The ‘Telephone’ icon made a surprise appearance on Larry King last night, celebrating his 25 years in the business.

‘It’s always very difficult,” she told the US TV host.  “I was actually asked to open for Michael on his tour and we were going to open for him at the O2 and we were working on making it happen. But Michael’s death was devastating for me regardless of whether or not I was supposed to go on tour with him. He’s such an inspiration.’

How awesome would that have been?! Opening for the King Of Pop himself!

Speaking of icons, Gaga also talked about of her admiration for Lady Diana and her sadness when she passed away in 1997.
