Kanye Interrupts Taylor Swift At VMA’s
It seems the VMAs are notorious for artists stealing the show for all the wrong reasons. Not content with Taylor Swift taking home Best Female Video, US Rapper Kanye West stumbled onto the stage half way through her acceptance speech, snatched her mic and declared Beyonce should have won the award instead!
“Taylor, I’m really happy for you, and I’m gonna let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time,” said West, who had been caught earlier swigging alcohol on the red carpet.
Boos irrupted from the crowd and Swift left the stage seemingly confused and speechless by Kanye’s outburst.
Apparently the ‘American Boy’ star also had a firm telling-off backstage from Taylor Swift’s mother and was then escourted out of the awards. He has since apologised to the teen country singer on his blog.
Although we somewhat agree that Beyonce’s ‘Single Ladies’ video has slightly more originality to it than Taylor’s, perhaps Kanye should learn to do what everyone else does when someone you don’t like wins at a world famous, multimillion dollar award ceremony… be polite, put a sock in it, and smile!

To be honest Beyonce video was better but Kanye is an asshole always had been, from the time he said he was gonna teach the world how too dress (which i found disturbing because if we were to learn from him, we’d all be screwed up.)

ever since a while ago i’ve boycotted him, i don’t listen to his music, if one of my favorite artists is touring with him i make sure i go too performances that he isn’t attending,and if there is anyway the my hard earned money might be going into his hands by any means i try my absolute hardest to avoid it, because he acts like the world owes him a favor…
And if i had any doubt about him being a bigot, watching him heart that poor girls feelings by making her feel like less of a person, indirectly telling her she didn’t deserve her award when she did (as long as she put effort into it it was well deserved) absolutely shattered any chance he had
Some strong feelings there Honest Truth – we watched the VMA’s last night on MTV and couldn’t believe what were was seeing. Taylor looked heartbroken when Kanye shrugged his shoulders and strutted off stage. Although it was lovely to see Beyonce give up her own speech for Taylor later in the show. Where abouts in the world are you from?

I agree with everything said here…I was absolutely gob-smacked that he could be so arrogant. I haven’t even seen Taylor’s video but if she won, she won as far as I’m concerned.
