Jedward Leave X Factor

I never thought this day would come. John and Edward, the infamous X Factor twins, tonight left the ‘singing’ competition after their rendition of Boyzone’s ‘No Matter What’ failed to impress the judges.

In all fairness, the pair were up against megastar Olly Murs, so they didn’t really stand a chance.

As much as I think it’s ridiculous that John and Edward even made it into the finals, the way Dannii smirked tonight before giving them the boot was actually quite disrespectful. Through all the negative publicity, rumours and jokes, Jedward have generated so much money and coverage for the show. But no doubt the papers will be ripping into the pair in the morning. So I think we shouldn’t forget they are only teenagers and deserve to be cut some slack…

No doubt we will be seeing them presenting on Children’s TV in the near future…
