Emma Bunton New Dancing On Ice Judge
Jumping on the bandwagon from the BBC hooking up Alesha Dixon for Strictly Come Dancing; Emma Bunton will be joining the Dancing On Ice judging panel early 2010, even though she has never danced… on… ice!?
The once named Baby Spice has no experience with jiving on frozen water but funnily enough that doesn’t seem to matter. She will be replacing ex-judge Ruthie Henshall who was axed after last season over criticism of her comments.
I love Emma Bunton, she always seems so honest and sincere, which I guess is perfect for her new role with ITV.
She will be joining fellow judges Robin Cousins, Jason Gadiner, Karner Barber and Nicky Slater. And Good old Torvill and Dean will probably be shaking their little ice scating bottoms for the new series too.

Ruthie Henshall also had no experience of ice skating either but both of them has alot of experience in performing and dancing which is still a huge part of dancing on ice. So whereas the other judges are more likely to criticise on the ice skating techniques, emma/ruthie criticise more on the dance/performance aspect. So theres a variety of criticism for the performers to work on, otherwise the judges would say pretty much all the same thing. Without the dance they’re just simply ice skating and probably not even in time with music etc.
