David Arquette: Heartbroken
This is really sad…David Arquette has admitted that his family and friends are worried about him after his split from wife Courteney Cox.
Earlier on this year, David and Courteney revealed they had separated after 11 years of marriage and David Arquette has admitted to drinking heavily since the split.
“Everybody is worried and concerned about me,” David Arquette explained during an interview with Howard Stern. “I’ve been drinking a lot because I’m heartbroken. It’s really a personal, traumatic thing.”
David, who admits he is seeing a psychiatrist, also revealed his hard partying is starting to be noticed by friends in the acting community too – now this is the really tragic part…
“[At a recent party] I was a little wasted. Someone says ‘Hi David!’, and I said, ‘Hi Sean!’ Then I realised it was Tom Cruise. And his beautiful wife [Katie Holmes] was there,” David recalled. “Tom was cool about it… I was so embarrassed. I was like, ‘I gotta get the f**k out of here’.”
Heartbreaks, break ups – whatever it may be…they’re absolutely hell to go through but we all know, eventually…life will be just fine.
