Dannii Minogue Missing X Factor

I thought this would happen…Dannii Minogue has officially confirmed that she’ll be at home in Australia when the X Factor auditions officially open this year.

Dannii is expecting her first child in July and has revealed that she’ll be missing the opening rounds of the show.

“If they’re auditioning in the hospital in Australia, yes [I will be there], but otherwise no,” Dannii told Digital Spy. “I will totally miss Cheryl and Louis and Simon, and not being there for the auditions, but I really need to be near my family in Australia at such an important time. I don’t know what is happening with X Factor. I just adore it and I had such a fun time last year. I’d love to be part of it somehow even if I just pop back and visit.”

However her spokeswoman was quick to add that: “Dannii has absolutely not quit The X Factor,” she explained. “Although she is having her baby at home in Australia, she would very much like to still be a part of the show in some capacity when it returns later this year.”

I think that Dannii’s optimism for working on the X Factor will quickly melt away when she lays eyes on her new born baby…watch this space – I think Cowell will be in search of a new judge! Whatever happens we wish Dannii the best of luck with her new arrival xx
