Cheryl ‘Cole’ Drops Surname
Cheryl Cole has opted to drop her surname for her merchandise which has recently been launched on her website due to her divorce from her Husband, Ashley Cole.
According to the Daily Star, Cheryl has had her surname removed from her official merchandise whilst she decides what name she should adopt.
“Cheryl approved the merchandise months ago before any of the marriage problems exploded,” an insider explained. “But after she decided that she was definitely going to divorce him, it would have been strange to release it still emblazoned with his name all over it. So they had to make a decision to remove her surname, especially after they knew it would hit her website on that particular day.”
However, despite reports Cheryl will revert to using her maiden name, Tweedy, a spokesman has insisted no final decision has been taken yet. “We have no comment to make regarding the merchandise,” they explained. “With regards to her name, no decision has been made about this yet.”
Well in my opinion she should officially revert back to ‘Tweedy’ but be known in the public eye as ‘Cheryl’ much like, Madonna and Kylie…what do you guys think?
