Black Eyed Leona on X Factor

Leona’s performance tonight was faultless, perfect, amazing… apart from those eyes…

Dark gothic eye makeup is a no no most of the time, but when you’ve recently been clobbered around the face by a fan at a book signing you really shouldn’t be laying it on thick. The makeup brought out the whites of her eyes so much it made the ‘Bleeding Love’ star look as if she was staring us down the camera, even when she was hitting those high notes.

The song was called happy – the eyes looked more psycho!

The girl is absolutely amazing and her new single ‘Happy’ sounded better than ever. The dress was perfect and her hair looked fantastic. It was just a shame about the eyes. Smokey eyes can be affective, but its important to blend it with the rest of your face. But hey… she’s done so well to not let the whole book signing assault phase her because I know I joke about it, but it’s a serious matter.

On the subject of Black Eyes, the Black Eyed Peas were astoundingly good on tonight’s show. One of the best guest performances of the season.
