Audition Behind Emma Watson’s Cut

Audition Behind Emma Watson’s Cut

It all makes sense if it’s true – apparently, Emma Watson chopped her hair off to try and land the lead role in the upcoming US version of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, the Sun reports (so we’ll take it with a pinch of salt then)…

Insiders claim that Emma Watson is competing against Natalie Portman, Ellen Page and Carey Mulligan to land the lead role Lisbeth Salander opposite Daniel Craig (dribble) in director David Fincher’s remake. “

Emma has auditioned with director David Fincher and cut her hair to look the part,” a source claimed. “The character of Lisbeth is a misfit goth-type girl with spiky hair.”

Last week, Emma admitted her new look has made her feel free. “Oh my God, it was the most liberating thing!” she revealed. “The stylist just grabbed the back of my hair and took a whole ponytail of hair out. It felt amazing. I love it.”

As I’ve said before it’s a fantastic change and if you’re a woman who has always had long hair I bet it feels amazing having it cut short…but trust me, the lack of styles wears thin eventually!
