Princess Diana Black Dress Sells For £192,000

Princess Diana’s stunning Black Dress, made famous at her debut with Prince Charles aged only 19, has sold for £192,000 at auction, following a bidding war yesterday.

The taffeta Emanuel gown which was expected to only fetch around £50,000 ended up quadrupling it’s value – certainly not one of those cheap party dresses!

Let’s just say someone at the fashion house, Fundacion Museo De La Moda, in Chile seriously wanted that dress!!! And had enough money to fit the bill! The museum was the highest bidder and now owns the iconic gown.
