Marc Jacobs New ‘Plus Size’ Range

It’s finally happening! Marc Jacobs has become the first major fashion house to announce it’s making a collection in sizes above a UK 14…about bloody time too!

Although the project is still very much in its infant stages, the designer label confirmed on Twitter: “we are in the very beginning stages of talking to a partner about plus sizes”, meaning women size 16 and above will no longer feel so ignored by high end fashion.

Celebrity fashion fans such as size 18, Beth Ditto, have worked to make the fashion industry open their eyes when it comes to dressing fuller figures. It kinda makes sense seeing as the  average size of a UK woman is a 16.
