How To Look Like Cheryl Cole

How does Cheryl Cole do it? This pic was snapped by a member of the crowd outside the X Factor London auditions today, as Cheryl arrived. The dress… the hair… amazing! But don’t fear – I can tell you exactly how to replicate this look for any body type and just why this picture has the WOW factor.

Now aside from cosmetic surgery and a great personal trainer, Cheryl’s stylist has done one or two things here…

1) Firstly, stylists often say you should wear flesh coloured shoes to elongate your legs, however this photo demonstrates this often colour limiting technique is not needed. Cheryl’s legs are elongated simply by choosing shoes that show the tops of her feet. She has also chosen a wickedly high-heel matched with a towering platform to gain height and give the impression her legs are more toned than perhaps they are. (Although they are pretty toned!) Also noticed the dog-tooth print – very ‘in’ at the moment!

2) Secondly, short dresses are often avoided for being too, dare I say it, ‘slutty,’ but as you can see Cheryl looks every bit the elegant superstar. Instead of opting for a plain design; the pleated material and bold colouring turn the look from ‘school girl’ to high fashion. Also noticed that because there is an awesome amount on leg on show here… the boobs are put away. Marvellous.

3) And thirdly, but by no means least, accessories. Less is often more. Here Cheryl demonstrates this beautifully, choosing to not over complicate the dress with a necklace and wearing two simple ‘pretty’ bracelets.
