Barbie’s 50th Anniversary

Although she doesn’t look it, Barbie is celebrating her 50th birthday this year.

The Mattel minx made her debut in 1959 as a girl’s toy, but has since become an important part of popular culture.

To mark the occasion, the plastic princess has teamed up with UK fashion retailer, New Look, and released a whole range of powder-pink goodness – from make up bags to mascaras!

And in case that isn’t enough for all the Barbie wannabes out there, the range also includes an entire collection of clothing items that will keep you looking bright and girlie this winter.

I hate to say it, but I think I might even invest in an item or two…I wouldn’t be an OGBF if I didn’t like Barbie now, would I?
