Previous British stars for Burberry (who I have heard of), includes Harry Potter star Emma Watson and Transformers actress Rosie Huntington-Whitely. So apparently this years’ line up is someone called, Cara Delevingne and Eddie Redmayne… Who the…?! I mean, the boy has freckles?! When was this OK in fashion?

Christmas in my household is a big deal. There’s real holly on the tops of mirrors and canvases, a black artificial tree with red and silver baubles and beads to match the lounge and a real mini pine tree with silver and purple baubles in the kitchen. I really do love Christmas.

Wow. So just after we’ve heard news of Lily’s wedding date apparently she’s also busy with her sister, Sarah Owen, designing their own fashion line!

The new collection is set to sit alongside the vintage dresses the sisters already have in their London store ‘Lucy in Disguise’ which launched six months ago. Lily also designed her own range for the UK fashion retailer New Look – she’s not just a good singer and pretty face, is she?!

Apparently Lily and her sister have been working with Nadia Jones to create a collection of eighteen vintage dresses. When talking about ‘Lucy in Disguise’ (cool name too, right?!) Lily described the inspiring character of Lucy as ‘a time-traveling fashionista who’s inviting you to explore her wardrobe. It’s a great opportunity to play with the character.’

The collection will be sold in the Lucy in Disguise store, Harvey Nichols, and the Lucy in Disguises’ website lucyindisguiselondon.com – totally awesome.

All hail the red-headed Goddess that is Vivienne Westwood, for she has re-designed the Brit Award…

This year’s Brit Awards are about a month away with all the nominations announcedat a fabulous launch party at the London O2 area – the ceremony’s new home.

The location isn’t the only thing to have changed because this year instead of the usual glossy gold statue presented to the winners at this year’s Brit Awards (taking place on 15 February 2011), the prize will be restyled each year by a leading British designer or creative to make each trophy unique year on year – how cool is that?!

To kick it all off, our very own UK fashion legend, Vivienne Westwood, has designed the 2011 version. Her design stays true to her British punk roots using a Union Jack-style toga dress to cover the mini Britannia statue. What’s more, the award supports Westwood’s environmental beliefs with the slogan “Stop! Climate Change” emblazoned on the bottom.

“Vivienne stands for all the things we want to inspire in tomorrow’s generation of artists,” said Brits chairman, David Joseph. “She continues to be unique, innovative, not to mention massively inspired by music and vice versa. We’re honoured she accepted our offer of designing 2011’s trophy.”

The 2011 Brit Awards ceremony takes place on Tuesday 15 February 2011 broadcast live on ITV1 at 8pm.

Etam are paying total focus to lingerie and nightwear for Spring/Summer 2011 and having previewed the range, I’m quite impressed – especially for such a ‘cheap’ brand!

The pieces from the collection are all quite beautiful in terms of shapes, patterns and colours and I’m willing to bet they look great on all women – regardless of shape or size.

This is bloody hilarious! Katie Holmes has revealed she often takes fashion advice from her daughter Suri.

A daughter giving her mother fashion advice would be fine in most cases, but as Katie’s daughter Suri is only four…isn’t it a bit odd?! Last year, four-year-old Suri was voted the most fashionable child in Hollywood in a poll for Hollybaby.com and Katie has admitted she takes the mini fashionista’s views on style seriously – really?! C’mon!

“She’ll really tell me what she thinks,” she said. “Like today I’m wearing brown suede pants, and she said, ‘I don’t like your pants’. But then she’ll say, ‘You’ve got to wear these shoes’. Or ‘That’s so pretty, Mum. Wear that’. She’s got a great eye.”

“The other day we came out of a store, and she said, ‘I want to go there’, pointing at another store quite a distance away. In that store was the dress that she wanted,” Holmes proudly added. “I said, ‘Wow, Suri. You’re something. You picked that out from a football field away.”

I’d like to think Suri was a Fashion Guru at four, but something tells me, this is near damn impossible.

Our favourite actress at the moment, Emma Watson, has said she uses fashion to express herself (don’t we all).

Emma Watson has made the headlines recently with her new ‘pixie’ looking hair-style but  she has revealed that she dresses to please herself and not others…you go girl!

“I just dress for me. Fashion is something I genuinely enjoy. It’s a way of expressing yourself,” Emma told Metro. “It’s a lot of fun and I hope it’s not going to get to a stage where I feel, ‘Argh, clothes – how stressful!’ It’s become a way of life and I’m meeting amazing new creative designers all the time.

“For a premiere, I’ll wear some forward-thinking, trend-setting designers like Balenciaga or the latest from Chanel. I’m also really into William Tempest,” Watson added. “If I’m going casual, I’ll mix vintage with clothes from Topshop, Zara or Gap and I also love Agnes B. I’ll mix and match, which makes it financially accessible to everyone.”

I absolutely love Emma Watson (but who doesn’t). I have to say I’m not a fan of the hair but she really is such a talented business woman and I love that she hasn’t let her Harry Potter success change her education plans – snaps for Emma!
